2026 HSVOCSA AGM

On the 1ST of March 2026 we had our AGM at the Coopers Ale House. The committee would like to thank everyone who attended on the day. We’d like to welcome to Carmella Orlando, Craig Williams & Greg Bennett, who have joined the committee this year at the AGM. The committee would like to welcome Clay Glen as our new President.

The committee would like to give a big thank you to Alan Tudorovic, who stepped down off the committee, after 3 years as President. Alan helped point the club in the right direction in many ways, one of which was the Member Jungle App. Alan and his wife Gerry spent countless hours looking at ways that this could streamline the way we do things, and it’s paid off big time. The HSVOCSA committee would like to thank Alan for his nonstop commitment and happy personality. Alan is still a member of the club, and his wealth of knowledge has been and will continue to be invaluable to the club. Corey Lawrie, Alan Tudorovic & Greg Mahony received awards for dedication & services to the club. Outgoing President Alan Tudorovic presented the awards to Corey (via video link) and Greg. The incoming President, Clay, presented the award to Alan. Corey Lawrie has been the clubs Treasurer since 2017 when the club was reformed, and has done a fantastic job, Thankyou Corey. Greg Mahony joined the committee in 2018 as has held a few positions, the main one being merchandise, so if you need some merch get in touch with him. Thankyou Greg.

Winter Cruise to Charleston Hotel for Lunch

17 gleaming HSVs arrived at The Maid’s car park in Stepney, with their owners all keen to take on the winding roads through the hills for our Winter Cruise to Charleston Hotel. With a beautiful sunny day and drying roads, the drive up was superb. Great hospitality and lovely food added with fine conversations made for a top lunch by the open fire. We have to give a big shout out and thankyou to the management and staff for their very friendly service, and always making you feel welcome. If you haven’t been to the Charleston Hotel yet, (as a wise man once said) do yourself a favor, and go there, guaranteed you won’t be disappointed.

2026 HSVOCSA Annual Bowling Night

On a chilly winters evening a bunch of enthusiastic HSVOCSA members arrived at Zone Bowling, Cross Road. We’d had a few late withdrawals due to injuries and colds but the battle was on to take the perpetual trophy. Peter lead the pack closely followed by Barb, quite the dynamic pairing! Then out of no where David hit the supercharger and blitzed the field with strike after strike. Peter wobbled, took the corners wide losing his winning racing line to find the gutters. In the final analysis a combined score from both games was enough for Peter to take the trophy for this year. Congrats Peter, well deserved!
